How to get a Certificate of Conformity (COC) in the Netherlands
Although the homologation process may seem complicated, obtaining an online certificate of conformity for your vehicle is a quick and easy process.

Collect these documents to get a COC
You will need to gather these documents before we can start processing your application:
- Photo of the vehicle's original documentation.
- Photo of the manufacturer's plate.These are usually located on the driver's or passenger's door frames, on the front of the engine or on the boot.
- Tyre measurements. These can be found on the tyre.
- Front, side and rear picture of the vehicle. It is important that the image is of good quality and that the whole vehicle is shown.
- Autonomous Community from which the vehicle is to be registered.
Finally, you will need to register your vehicle at the RDW inspection station in the Netherlands.
They will ask you for the certificate of conformity of your vehicle, the original vehicle documentation and proof of identity.
